Campaign targets public hospitals evading abortions
Abortion Rights Mobilization announced a nationwide push against public hospitals that refuse abortions. Lawrence Lader said 260000 women a year are denied rights as 82 percent of public hospitals flout the Supreme Court ruling. He noted many women travel 300 miles to obtain abortions. Legal action will be filed in New Orleans against Louisiana public hospitals.
