A busy calendar for Westside groups runs through March with meetings and social events. The Westside Grandmothers Club gathers at Pearl Pef fly’s home, while Sun shine Circle hosts a noon luncheon at Colonial Hall. St Bernadettes Guild holds a card party at Our Lady of Refuge Church. Local 13 hosts a noon meeting at Bricklayers Hall as new officers are announced. American Legion Post and Auxiliary celebrate their birthday with a 6:30 p.m. pot luck and Salvation Army talk. Wednesday features Christian Women's Club luncheon at Recreation Park Clubhouse with music and speaker. Hadassah meets in the evening at Betty Siegel’s home. NCJW Long Beach holds an 8 p.m. film and speaker. Thursday brings the North Long Beach Women’s Club card party, and church services and election of officers for North Long Beach Methodist Women. Long Beach Emblem Club hosts a tea and card party for new members at Veterans Memorial Park Clubhouse.
