WMC grants study aid to nine young musicians
Talents of nine aspiring musicians were recognized by the Woman's Music Club with scholarships for further study. Kathleen C. Martin, Phillip Combalo and Debbie Schumacher won $100 first prizes in voice, strings, and piano. Linda Curtis, Michael Gallup and Pamela Eveland earned $50 second prizes in strings, voice, and piano. Honorable mention went to Barbara Erikson, Patricia Deight and Ron Smart. The top winners perform April 12 at the WMC family night at Ebell Clubhouse.
