Malibu judge acquitted actor Jackie Coogan of a felony narcotics possession charge citing insufficient evidence. Judge Arthur C. Miller ruled there was not enough to bring the former child star to trial in Superior Court. Coogan is 48.
LONDON UPI A 1,372 1 acre estate in Surrey County outside London has been sold to New York financier T. M. Evans, chairman of N. K. Porter and Co. He bought the Ockham estate between Esher and Guilford. Purchase price not disclosed but believed to be about 420000 dollars.
