Israel Devalues Currency and Raises Food Prices
International report notes Israel devalued the pound nearly 2 percent and raised milk bread and oil prices about 2 to 10 percent. Subsidies on basics were slashed from 240 million to 26 million, sparking lines at gas stations and grocery stores amid economic strain.
