Red light stigma and forgery case tied to bracero dispute
In West Covina UPI report Terranova 38 was jailed on forgery charges after arriving from El Paso to face a preliminary hearing set for March 13. Labor Secretary Goldberg, amid negotiations with Mexico over bracero labor, warned the sector over a stalled lettuce strike and threatened a protest between the U S and Mexico while the government weighs actions.
