Ford vows win in Florida as primaries loom
Ford told a Tampa crowd of 8,000 and a Ford Committee reception that he is “absolutely certain” of winning in Florida, calling it the key to his campaign. He cited his New Hampshire margin and momentum while predicting victories in Massachusetts and Vermont. Reagan offered cautious critique as both campaigns pushed through Florida and Massachusetts with Tuesday primaries near.
