A Minneapolis training plane struck a power line and somersaulted into the sea, killing an airman and a crewman.

Ground forces completed their first 24 hours without contact since last August as night bombardments lit the sky. The Sixth South Korean Division moved east of the upper Pukhan River to attack three outposts.

Ed Benton Ross a 55 year old Long Beach used car dealer was found wandering at his sister’s home in Chino after four days away. He could not explain where he had been since his disappearance last Sunday afternoon. He phoned his wife Bonnie at their home on November 23 to say he would be home after showing a sea car.

Massive Highway 101 slide blocks Calif traffic near Pepperwood
A landslide four lanes wide and 400 yards long blocked California Route 101 three miles south of Pepperwood. Trees rocks and mud from Shively Bluff tumbled onto the highway during a heavy storm. Deputies described the scene as it suddenly gave way amid rain. no injuries reported as patrols secured the area.
