Deep Cuts Found in First Autopsy of Girl’s Death

Henry Ford McCracken, the primary suspect in Patricia Jean Hull’s death, was shown at the Live Oak Canyon grave site where the Buena Park girl’s body was found. The preliminary autopsy revealed 15 severe head wounds. the child was fully dressed, in a red sweater and blue jeans, and lay in a shallow V-shaped trench.

General Ferenbaugh Rescued by Tanks Amid Korean Ambush

Maj Gen A B Ferenbaugh commander of the U S Seventh Division was pinned down for four hours on a Korean hillside by a Chinese machine gun ambush. Two soldiers were killed. He was rescued after dark by American tanks. His aide Capt C P Chandler and driver Sgt Allen D Brally were unhurt aside from minor scratches.

Three Women Jailed For Handbill Protest At Lockheed Gate

Three women identified as Mrs Ursula Goldberg Mrs Esther Auerbach and Mrs Helen Price were sentenced to 25 days in jail today after being arrested for passing out Communist party hand bills at the gates of the Lockheed Aircraft factory in Burbank May 24.
