Reno Area Rocked By Sharp Quake
A sharp earthquake was felt in the Reno area at 8 30 a m today. Professor Vincent P Gianella of the University of Nevada reported the quake centered about 20 miles southwest of Reno in the Sierra Nevada north of Lake Tahoe. The seismograph needle was knocked off the paper by the shock. No damage was reported though workers in Carson City said the quake was so severe that many people ran into the hall of the state Capitol building.

Two Airmen Hurt As Car Strikes City Bus
