Drive a Half Mile Into North Korea

Tokyo dispatch reports tank led American forces crossing the 38th parallel into North Korea from Uijongbu at 10 21 a m local time. An armored column advanced about a half mile beyond the boundary toward the Hantan River near the Imjin. The move comes eight miles east of earlier Chinese breakthrough points.

Sailors Hurt in Long Beach Car Crash
