A group of Long Beach officials and civic leaders toured Southern California Edison powerhouse facilities in the Big Creek area and Huntington Lake. Edison district manager Charles M. Campbell explained how the hydroelectric generator system connects with the steam plant output. Attendees included Mayor Buron W. Chace and councilmen Seaton, Livoni, Wagner, D. W. Campbell, Darrett Neighbors of the Chamber of Commerce, and Lloyd Lendom of the Metropolitan Water District.
