Cohen Jury Locked Up For Night
In Los Angeles a federal court jury of Raven women and five men trying gambler Mickey Cohen for income tax evasion was locked up in a downtown hotel tonight after deliberating three hours without reaching a verdict. The jurors were sent out for dinner after a 9 pm lockup following a 4:30 pm start and Judge Ben Harrison gave instructions on income tax returns and sworn statements as Cohen showed signs of nerves at the table.
