Eisenhower Says He Will Meet Stalin Anywhere Any Time

He said peace and security are the top issues of his civilian bid for the Republican presidential nomination and acknowledged broad advice against a peace initiative. He emphasized that many people must act and sacrifice for security, not a single genius. He cautioned that meeting Stalin as president is not yet certain, but left open the possibility if justified.
