U S infantrymen crossed the main river north of Aschaffenburg in full divisional strength during Thursday operations. The union served 21 demands including severance pay eight paid holidays a union shop and wage escalator clause. Douglas officials said they would study the proposals and reconvene with the bargaining committee in several days.
