Norwalk man Ellsworth O’Donnell aged 27 was shot dead by his former father in law Eugene Southack in a dispute over custody of O’Donnell’s daughter Billie Susan. Deputies had arrived to keep peace when the shotgun was fired through the front door, injuring no one else and Southack surrendered.
