Airliner lands safely after hydraulic pressure scare
United Air Lines flight 725 with 108 passengers and seven crew members landed safely at Hill Air Force Base after reporting hydraulic pressure loss in flight. Captain J W Barlow of San Francisco said the precautionary landing was dictated by gear and pressure readings, with pressure later returning. The Boeing 723, en route from Cleveland to San Francisco, used Hill’s 13,500 foot runway for the safe stop.
