Farmer refuses $10,000 hijack reward in Peru Indiana
Farmer Lowell Elliott found a bag of $500,000 after a plane hijacking, declining American Airlines gift of $10,000. He said the reward should be larger, noting the hijacker received $500,000 and suggesting 10 percent would be better. Elliott plans to use some money for farm bills if he ever accepts.
