Long Beach Doctor blends medicine duty with civic push
Dr. Frank Stanton, Long Beach physician and activist, chairs boards from Shoreline Development to Downtown Long Beach Associates and eyes a $500 million amusement zone project. He moved from Morenci Arizona to Long Beach after his father’s copper mining era practice, now runs a multi‑doctor group, laments rising medical costs, and promotes community service beyond medicine.
