Slaying of LAPD Chief’s Son Sparks Long Beach Hunt
A massive search in the Long Beach area targets two suspects Bill Young 20 and Clarence Dennison 25 for the December 30 killing of Roger Guindon Jr. 16. Police circulated composites of two Black suspects and a woman Diane Langley 36. A tongueless shoe linked Young to the crime and a Massachusetts factory shipment helped identify the suspect. The victim was on his way to a North Long Beach drive-in when attacked and died at the scene.
