Bridegroom killed as chairlift jumps its cable
A chairlift at Ra ton Pass in New Mexico jumped its track after a drive chain snapped. Bridegroom Robert C. Guillaume 41 of Edmond Oklahoma died. Bride of one day June 33 was seriously injured along with four other sightseers as about 30 people were stranded for five hours. Rescue crews used ropes to lower riders to safety.
