Mills says not a candidate for president in 1972
Washington UPI Chairman Wabi Mills said on NBC's Meet the Press he is not remotely interested in the Democratic presidential nomination and has no plan to run. He hinted he might consider the vice presidency but would rather chair the Ways and Means Committee. He argued Nixon has erred on unemployment and predicted a Democrat could win if nominated, while opposing federal state revenue sharing and urging other city relief steps.
