Artesia Freeway Dedication Marks New Route Link

The Artesia Freeway segment from Artesia Boulevard to Bloomfield Avenue opened with a ceremony led by Orange County officials. Judges from 13 cities attended as the $8.8 million project completes a four mile link to Buena Park, with additional segments planned to reach Long Beach and Riverside freeways by 1971.
