Triple Killer Busch Is Executed
SAN QUENTIN, Calif. A 31 year old Los Angeles man Busch was executed in the gas chamber after admitting an uncontrollable urge to kill. He was convicted of strangling his aunt Margaret Briggs in 1960 and also of killing Elmyra Miller and Shirley Payne. The Briges murder carried first degree and the death sentence. A defense lawyer had sought a new trial arguing the aunt quarrel negated premeditation.
