Connally Set for 15 Nation Economic Tour From Florida

President Nixon sends outgoing Treasury Secretary John B. Connally on a month long 11 nation trip to discuss international economic issues with leaders in Venezuela Colombia Brasilia Argentina Bolivia Peru and likely India Pakistan and more. Connally travels June 6 to June 14 with stops in Caracas Bogota Brasilia Sao Paulo Buenos Aires La Paz and Lima and will not negotiate POW releases.

Albert declines 1972 Democratic Party chairmanship
