Retiring Long Beach teacher fondly recalls decades of change
Delor A. Bombardier, 65, industrial arts and social science instructor at Franklin Junior High, retires after 40 years. He says teaching has changed more than pupils, with vast material to cover and a need for selective instruction. He grew up in Keeseville, N.Y., moved to Long Beach in 1922, and traveled widely during summers with his wife.
