Tragedy Haunts Atlanta Art Association Flight Loss
The Art Association founded 1905 faced a grim loss as a plane crash in France carried members and staff. Among the dead were Mrs. Anna Mulcahy and Margaret Turner of the Atlanta Journal staff. Officials kept plans for services while the group had been touring Europe. Del R Paige, association president and victim, would have urged continuing the program. The May 9 departure turned to somber return as families prepared homecomings that became wakes.
