Long Beach Beach Mystery and city life notes
The piece notes Long Beach eight mile beach as the Playground of the Pacific and references captioned photos of Long Beach landmarks. It cites Otto Ross of Belmont Shore calling attention to a missing mile of beach and laments a trend that could mock the city’s tune. It then touches on a New York psychiatrist's view on men doing household chores, reports a local poll finding few men help, and ends with a city hall blurb about a wallet found in Willey Hotel lounge, returned to Chicago owner Mrs Al Swanson, plus a $20 reward as a thank you.
