Ex husband testifies as Carole Tregoff weeps in court

In Los Angeles Carole Tregoff 23 wept as ex husband James Pappa 26 testified about her leaving him for Dr R Bernard Finch 43 in the murder retrial of socialite Barbara Jean Finch. Pappa described their relationship as business until a call from Mrs Finch. He recounted the couple’s alleged plot and the confrontation with Finch. The defense objected to some testimony and the hearing was delayed with scheduling adjustments by Judge Dawson.

Bandits Rob Hitchhiker After Stripping Clothes

A 19 year old hitchhiker was robbed by two bandits who took 80 cents and threw most of his clothes from a car in the Belmont Shore area around 10 pm Thursday. Police report names James L. Mc Kell of 1787 Long Beach Blvd as the witness.
