Tasos Sofopoulous Plays Bouzouki at Ranch House

Tasos Sofopoulous and his quartet with dancer Dara perform nightly at the 101 Raunch House Restaurant in Seal Beach. Born in Athens, Tasos became a professional at 17 and has world tours, Greek TV and films to his credit. His fast bouzouki playing for Zorba the Greek helped him rise, and he practices two to three hours daily. The Grecian Room draws Greek and local crowds, with Armenian, Jewish, Syrian and Turkish tunes and audience-dance segments.
