Israel Offers Soviet Arms to West in Secret Trade Bid
Israeli military sources circulate lists of modern Soviet weapons among Britain, the United States, and West Germany. The arsenal includes tanks, planes, rockets, and mine-laying devices, with some items not yet distributed to Warsaw Pact states. A tracked mine plant and a plow-like mine-layer are described, plus artillery, antitank rockets, and a radar guided surface to air missile system. The note also mentions infrared night fighting gear on a 35 ton tank with a 100mm cannon.
