New treasure confirms site of ship wreck
In Key West and the Gulf of Mexico divers recovered five bronze cannons and argued the finds confirm the wreck as the Nuestra Senora de Atocha. The treasure, valued at over 100 million dollars, lies 30 feet deep near the Marquesas Keys, with more than 89 silver bars and 3,000 ounces of gold said to remain.
