Police Arrest Trio After San Antonio Drive Robbery
Officers on patrol stopped a gun and knife hold up of Hugo E. Enrico near San Antonio Drive and Virginia Road. Suspects fled in Enrico's car after pushing him on a lawn and taking $6. Five were involved. Jimmy Sims and Linda English, both 19 or 20 and from Los Angeles, were booked along with a Jane Doe in armed robbery and grand theft auto probes.

Oil incident blocks Rosecrans off ramp on freeway
A ruptured underground oil pipeline spilled oil on Rosecrans Avenue offramp of the northbound San Diego Freeway, closing the ramp for over two hours Tuesday night. California Highway Patrol closed the ramp which carries about 5,000 vehicles hourly at peak.

Girl Mauled and Locked Up for Not Working Says Police
A 13 year old Mexican girl was kept in a shed for three days without food because she did not work hard enough as a maid. Carmen Rodriguez was treated for fear and malnutrition at a Los Angeles hospital. Bernard i Gonzales and Teresa Gonzales were arrested on suspicion of endangering the life of a child. Neighbors reported heard sobs and saw the girl in tattered clothing as she was kept in squalid conditions with no plumbing and limited water.
