Pezband draws young crowd with pop rock debut
The Oak Park, Illinois band Pezband now based in New Jersey aims at a young audience with a catchy, live show driven by guitarist Tommy Gauvenda and bassist Mike Gorman. Their debut album features 12 tracks with Top 40 potential including Please Be Somewhere Tonight and Baby Its Cold Outside. They seek airplay on progressive FM stations and plan a single based on audience response. They moved east to be closer to the industry hub in New York and avoid CBGB’s punk scene while refining their pop oriented sound.
