Federal jury in Austin convicts 25 year old Amarillo man Keesee on a stolen car cross state line charge as part of a cross country crime spree that ended when he flew to Cuba and was captured after a forced landing. He claimed to be guided by an CIA agent to fake a background of crime to gain asylum. Keesee faces sentencing next Tuesday while authorities pursued 32 counts in the overall indictment.
