Willowbrook man saved from kitchen fire by quick neighbor
Early Friday a Willowbrook resident credited his neighbor Van Edwards for rushing into a smoke filled kitchen and pulling the unconscious Pendleton man from danger. Pendleton, 41, of 2455 Fast 115th Street, nearly suffocated in the blaze. Edwards, 26, said he noticed smoke as he walked by and acted to rescue the man.
