Aid to New Cities Studied
LOS ANGELES (CNS) A study into county aid to newly incorporated cities was begun early in the fiscal year as the board of supervisors discussed improving county services. The panel also approved canceling a county civil service contract with Inglewood for nonreimbursed services, amid criticism that delays hinder city needs. Legg and Hahami urged investigation into county efficiency, while Ford warned that without faster action the county aid framework could collapse.
