Army plans February moon probe amid space cold war
CAPE CANAVERAL Fla (UPI) The Army sets February 28 for another moon probe using the Jupiter booster to measure Earth's radiation belt and test an optical trigger system. A UPI source says the mission is more propaganda than a match for Soviet Lunas, with a 33-pound payload viewed as a weak entry in the U.S.–Russia space contest.
