Seal Beach Girl Missing Sparks Community Anxiety
Seal Beach investigation into the disappearance of Allison, an industrial nurse at a cannery, after she failed to return home at 12:15. Neighbors report rumors of a tan foreign car and two possible sightings while classmates describe her as quiet and shy around men. Her mother reported she left a note and wore a black sweater and beige skirt, weighing 124 pounds. Police compare the case to earlier abduction tragedies as parents keep children under supervision. The Browns and Tompkins families’ tragedy in 1962 is recalled amid renewed concern.
