FBI expert links Carole Tyler to checks signed for Baker
FBI handwriting expert testified Miss Carole Tyler late secretary to former Senate aide Robert Baker signed checks drawn on Harvey Aluminum and Bromley accounts in 1962 1964. He said Tyler signed at least three Harvey Aluminum checks in Bromley’s name and Baker benefited from about 80000 of the funds, with Bromley stating he did not authorize signing. The government argues seven checks totaling 5000 reached Baker and several others were cashed to aid campaign funds.
