Orange County Board Scuttles Marine Lab Program
The Orange County Board of Education has scuttled one of two floating marine laboratories used to take students to sea to collect samples. It plans to apply for 84169 from the U S Office of Education to operate a deep water lab program for a year, leasing one boat to reach offshore collecting spots for high school and junior high science students.
