No Clues in Ruby Bank Box in Dallas Raid
Federal agents and the district attorney's office raided a bank box rented by Jack Ruby and Eva Grant. The box was found empty. Ruby, slayer of Lee Harvey Oswald, is held without bond since Nov. 24. Prosecutors said a search warrant sought material relevant to Ruby's impending murder trial. Mrs. Grant opened the box on Dec. 9, 1963. Lawyers for Ruby filed a motion seeking access to investigative reports on Oswald's death, arguing denial would affect due process. The motion was mailed to District Judge Joe B Brown.
