Overseas DCS Hops Scheduled
Two airlines announced overseas jet service starting this spring. United Air Lines will launch DC8 flights from Los Angeles to Honolulu on March 14, with a 5 hour 35 minute schedule, carrying 28 in first class and 89 in coach. SAS begins transatlantic DC8 service from New York and Los Angeles with stops in Copenhagen and other cities, expanding to a twice weekly transpolar LA route.
