Churchill Recovers From Cold on the Riviera

Sir Winston Churchill, aged 85, was confined to his hotel room in Monte Carlo with a cold but was described by his Riviera doctor as up and about. Dr David Roberts said the illness was a very slight one tied to climate change and lasted two to three days. Churchill dined with his wife after dressing, despite cold, rainy Riviera weather and a rare snowfall above Mount Agel.
