Eight Women Named to Fashion Hall of Fame
The Couture Group of the New York Dress Institute unveiled the 1958 best dressed list. Mrs. Winston Guest and Countess Rodolfo Crespi tied for first, with Audrey Hepburn, Kay Kendall, and Merle Oberon among others in the elite. Faculty Wives Plan Supper at Long Beach State College
Faculty Wives will meet at 620 pre Friday at Wailarah Church for a potluck supper inviting husbands. Dr. De Tor Kendiz, a renowned radiologist, will speak on Radiation Hazards after dinner. Kendig, a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology, trained at KU and hospitals in Detroit, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The event includes decorations, a four tier wedding cake, and a reception hosted by Danish and Swedish hospitals.
