Albert J Kostal 39 escaped convict and alleged killer was recaptured Friday after a long chase. Officers FBI agents and local police surrounded a home on Firebird Avenue Ollicera armed with pistols rifles and machine guns. Kostal stepped out picked up a newspaper and surrendered after a phone call from Detective Dee Lightner who had returned him to Los Angeles. Kostal and Turner were in the home when surrounded and Turner was arrested as Kostal prepared to surrender.
