Lost Ship Trace Fails To Appear In Gulf Search

Europe braces as floods threaten and blizzards lash Britain
Europe faced renewed floods while Britain endured a worst winter in memory as arctic cold and heavy snowfall persisted. Lake Constance froze solid for the first time in 133 years as helicopters dropped food to birds. Communities from Muensterlingen to Haguenau planned a St John statue transfer ceremony once ice thickened enough. Devon and Exmoor suffered blizzard conditions and Dartmoor saw fresh snow. Hedley Northumberland reported being cut off since Christmas with milk and groceries delivered by sled. Scotland remained largely passable but frigid, and western Europe faced flood warnings along West German rivers amid a slight thaw fading.
