An infant boy allegedly kidnapped from an Anaheim home on Christmas Day was returned to his mother Karla Simmons in Anaheim at 2 a.m. Police arrested Connie Duke a 19 year old Dallas babysitter who had watched the child. Duke was jailed on suspicion of kidnapping.

A 28 year old handicapped Long Beach bookkeeper in a wheelchair was robbed of 30 dollars at his door early Sunday by two men. Police said one suspect carried a pistol and warned the victim not to resist before the pair fled down a nearby alley.
