Balloon Satellite Mystery and Fatal Garage Incident
National Aeronautics and Space Administration contends a polka dotted balloon satellite named The Christmas Star may have entered a polar orbit after launch, while in a separate tragedy Donna Lee Keenan, 37, was found dead in a garage amid fumes from a canister as two daughters Theresa 15 and Rebecca 17 were hospitalized. Deputy reports note four stages fired and imply a beacon failure as investigators pursue orbit confirmation. The Cincinnati General Hospital failure to admit a large nurse applicant is also reported.
