Light drinking may aid alcoholics in study
A six week study of 75 male alcoholics at Coatesville VA Hospital found those who drank up to 26 ounces daily showed no worse health markers after treatment than abstainers. Small regular doses appeared safer than large infrequent intakes, with follow ups to 91 patients showing limited intoxication incidents.
